Developed and introduced in 2005, the Digital Theater System format is used in HD films. DTS has a multi-channel sound with various functions. All audio information is divided into five tracks. A separate audio player is not required. The Digital Theater System format allows you to achieve the five-channel sound that is used in cinemas. The rate of the digital stream amounts to 1,536,000 bits per second. DTS is compatible with the 7.1 acoustics format and the conventional stereo format.
